Holy crap its been a long time since I've been here... I guess I should apologize first of all -- not that anyone ever comes here anymore -- for not being here at all the past few months. I've been having a very hectic time trying to get my life in order, not having any luck whatsoever, however, still trying though, but starting to lose hope in it all.
I've been applying for jobs all over Town and I had an interview at the local McD's, but I guess I just wasn't what they were looking for. Congrats to my friends Mom who apparently got hired, you out-shown me...? I tried at the local Home Hardware and at the DLG, not that I know what it is they do, but I heard they needed some General Labour guys to do... well General Labour, so I printed off my Resume and handed it. Filling out an Application for the Wal-Mart just in the next town not 10 minutes from where I live, hoping that I can get that job; I need something!
I recently came across a bunch of photos of me that my Aunt had taken last year during Christmas, my birthday party this year (I don't really like the ones of me that I got from my Birthday), Easter, which is where the pic of me you see here is from, and a few others from Camping and other occasions that I was at her place. I uploaded them to Facebook, mainly for shits and giggles, and I ended up cropping the one of my Cousins in me and am now using that for like everything. If you've got a Facebook and I don't have you added, send me a friend invite, I'm always on and doing something, plus I'm updating that more than I'm updating this, so you'll know what I'm doing, or not doing, through there.
I don't remember if I ever mentioned on here that I finally finished reading the Host -- Well I did. I took it camping with me this year to The Pinery and over the course of the week, whenever we weren't out doing something, I was either reading it or writing a random idea that I got, but doubt I'll start. I have to say though that the Host was, in my opinion at least, far better than the entire Twilight saga. I enjoyed the Twilight saga, but the Host blew it out of the water for me and immediately upon finishing the last page knocked New Moon and Whispers by Dean Koontz from their perch as my favourite books. I received Staked by J.F. Lewis as well as the first three books from The House of Night series from the same Aunt that took those pictures as well as given me almost every book I own, for which I love her and would like to thank her. I haven't started reading Staked, or anything else, for that matter and don't really know why. I've got Staked sitting in front of me, with the bookmark waiting under the cover for me to pick it up and start, and I really want to, I've got this craving for a really good Vampire story, but I don't feel like re-reading Twilight.
I recently started writing a Collaboration story with a buddy of mine, Gohtron, of which is his internet name of course, after discovering that he too enjoyed writing, but didn't have the patience for it. The two of us downloaded a very useful program called CrossLoop which not only lets us view each others screens, but lets us control them as well. Apparently, according to him, I have a more descriptive writing style than he does, so I got stuck doing the majority of the writing and he sits on his laptop/desktop at his house correcting the mistakes I don't see and throwing in his ideas on the situation and helping me get past parts that I'm stuck at. Its going very well, in my opinion, though now that he's started College we haven't worked a whole lot on it. I'm not going to release any information about it, seeing as its not 100% my work like everything else on here is, so when it is done, I'll post it up, I'm sorry.
Anyway; I just received an email from... Kay Elizabeth, who is the founder of The Cuckleburr Times, inviting me to join this new site called... Authors.com, or something, I haven't checked the site out yet, though I have registered, but I can't do much until my profile's been accepted. It'll probably be another site like The Cuckleburr, which is good; Giving aspiring Authors and Professional Authors a place to go and submit little things that they aren't too concerned about leaking to the world. But yes, that's pretty much the only reason I'm here, typing this up, is because I was looking over The Cuckleburr Times and I spotted the link to this site off my Profile and was like "Oh yeah, I forgot about FreeWebs!" so I figured -- for any future visitors -- that I'd do a quick update and run down of the latest events in my life, not that much has happened or is happening. So until the next time I decide to do an update, Ciao!
On a quick side note, if you have a lot of free time, or even just a few spare minutes during your day, you should really check out Equals Three (=3) on YouTube. He is hilarious.
